Ocean Network Express is delighted to announce a new gateway for our valued customers at Kolkata and Haldia. Export/Import cargo can be seamlessly routed via Balmer Lawrie CFS, utilizing rail services to connect with mainline vessels at Nhava Sheva Port. This enhanced connectivity provides direct access to key global destinations, including the USA, Europe, the Mediterranean, and Africa.

Inbound shipments will also benefit from this service, with cargo discharged from mainline vessels at Nhava Sheva Port and transported by rail to Balmer Lawrie CFS in Kolkata for efficient delivery.

New Service features are as follows.

• Fixed-day rail departure from Balmer Lawrie CFS, Kolkata ( Wednesday cutoff, Thursday departure).
• Time-sensitive export cargo from Kolkata and Haldia are expedited via direct rail shipment from the Kolkata CFS to mainline vessels at Nhava Sheva.
• Import cargo is discharged at Nhava Sheva and railed to Kolkata CFS.
• Weekly coverage serving Africa, Mediterranean and North Europe.
• Weekly direct connection to USA East Coast and West Coast on WIN and PS3 services.
• Premium service with faster transit times, achieved by eliminating transshipment delays to key ports (Singapore, Port Kelang and Colombo) and significantly improving point-to-point transit time and schedule consistency for both exports and imports.
